This 16-valve engine features advanced technologies including dual variable valve timing and a flow-control valve intake manifold. It’s all about efficiency. Mated to the nine-speed automatic transmission, it can get up to 31 highway mpg. The combo also has a driving range of up to 489 highway miles on one tank.

The available Jeep® Active Drive I 4x4 System features a rear axle disconnect feature that only engages when necessary for improved efficiency.


Jeep® Active Drive II 4x4 System

The available Jeep® Active Drive II 4x4 System includes all the features of the Jeep Active Drive I 4x4 System and adds a low range and Neutral Mode for added capability.


Jeep® Active Drive Lock 4x4 System

The Jeep® Active Drive Lock 4x4 System includes a mechanical rear axle lock and Selec-Terrain® Traction Management Rock Mode.
